ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 Points Table after 4th test, India vs England 2024

India registered their fifth win in the ongoing ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle.
Dhruv Jurel was India’s match winner in the fourth test against England in Ranchi. Jurel played sublime knocks in both innings batting lower down the order for India at JSCA Stadium in Ranchi. After falling short of his maiden ton in the first innings, Jurel played a defining knock much more worth than a test hundred. Jurel’s resilience in his unbeaten innings of 39 innings in the second innings helped the hosts win the test and seal the five-match test series 3-1 against England.
India required 192 runs in the fourth innings to win the Ranchi test and also seal the five-match test series. England off-spinner Shoaib Bashir did send a few tremors on Indian dressing room when he dismissed Ravindra Jadeja (4) and Sarfaraz Khan (0) in successive deliveries after lunch. Later on, Dhruv Jurel and Shubman Gill (52*) added match-winning partnership for the sixth wicket to script one of the finest test wins in India.
