RCB vs DC clash of IPL 2026 is underway at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) take on Delhi Capitals (DC) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on April 18, for Match 26 of the Indian Premier League 2026. All eyes are on Virat Kohli, who is in contention to win the Orange Cap and remains the biggest threat heading into this game.

Currently sitting at the second position in the table, RCB have won four of their first five games and haven’t lost at home yet. A huge part of that is thanks to Virat Kohli, who is having what might be his best T20 season in years. In five innings, Kohli has smashed 228 runs at an average of 57.00 and a strike rate of 158.33.

Captain Rajat Patidar is also providing plenty of power right behind Kohli. Patidar is fourth on the Orange Cap list with 222 runs. The rest of the team is stepping up, too.

On the other hand, DC, captained by Axar Patel, have split their first four games with two wins and two losses. They’ve shown bits of brilliance, but haven’t really put together a perfect game yet. KL Rahul, Sameer Rizvi and Pathum Nissanka have looked good with the bat.

But they need more help from a middle order that has been pretty inconsistent. Kuldeep Yadav hasn’t quite found his mojo either, taking only three wickets with a high economy rate of 9.84. Pacers have done well for them and would want to continue doing so.

Playing at the Chinnaswamy only adds to the pressure. RCB are three-for-three at home this year, and the small boundaries and flat pitch usually favour a deep batting lineup like theirs. They would be favourites to win, but DC, having lost their last two games, would be eager for a win here as well.
