India U19 won their final Group A league match of the ICC U19 World Cup 2024 comprehensively against USA U19. India crushed USA by a massive margin of 201 runs at the Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein. India qualified for the Super Six round and they will be opening their campaign in the next round with a big clash against New Zealand U19 on 30th January. New Zealand finished second in Group D. They won against Afghanistan and Nepal while suffered a defeat at the hands of Pakistan.
Team India had an unbeaten run in the tournament so far and won against all opponents in Group A. India defeated Bangladesh, Ireland and USA in the league round. India and New Zealand are placed in Group 1 in the Super Six round. Qualified teams from Group A and Group D are placed in Group 1, while teams who qualified from Group B and Group C are placed in Group 2. India will play two games in the Super Six round, the first one against New Zealand and another against Nepal. The top two sides from each group in the Super Six round will qualify for the semi-finals of the ICC U19 World Cup 2024.
