But it was followed by a record stand for the third wicket between Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan. The duo added 224 runs for the third wicket and scored a century each. Ishan scored 125 off 79 balls, while Gill ended up scoring 154 off 110 balls.
India finished with a massive total of 402 all out in 49.5 overs. It was never going to be easy, and Afghanistan didn’t have any good partnerships.
Rahmat Shah was the top scorer with 79 off 89 balls. Afghanistan got all out for 232 runs, with Arshdeep Singh and Gurnoor Brar picking up three wickets each.
