India's tour of Australia 2025
IND vs AUS: Australia playing XI vs India, 4th T20I T20I, 2023 – Predicted

Australia will lock horns with India on Friday in the fourth T20I game of the series in Raipur.
After losing the first two matches of the series, Australia made a brilliant comeback in the third game. They chased down a massive target, with Glenn Maxwell making the big difference with the bat in hand. But their next challenge will be pretty big. All the big guns have flown back home, including Maxwell, and some new faces have joined the team.
The fourth T20I match will be played on Friday at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur. Australia need this win to make it 2-2 and can’t afford a loss. But it will be tough, as India have played well. In this article, we will talk about the predicted playing XI for Australia against India.
IND vs AUS: Australia’s predicted playing XI vs India
1. Travis Head :

World Cup hero Travis Head started the series with a blinder, scored 35 off 18 balls, and was looking pretty good in the last game. But he got out at the wrong time. He will look to do well this time around and make a difference from the top, and India will hope that he gets out cheaply.
2. Matthew Short :

Matthew Short will be back, opening the innings. He played the first two matches but couldn’t convert his starts. He is an attacking batter who likes to go over the top in the powerplay and score quick runs. He is a challenging batter to bowl against because of his big reach. Short is also a handy spinner.
3. Josh Philippe :

Josh Philippe will be back for his first game and will be batting in the top order. He is a pretty aggressive batter who likes to take on bowling. Josh has played a handful of T20I games for Australia, but this could turn out to be a career-changing moment if he can do well in the remaining two games.
4. Ben McDermott :

Ben McDermott will be the one to watch out for. Because he is a very experienced batter in this format. He has played 150 T20s in his overall career and has scored tons of runs in the BBL. McDermott has a great chance to do well in these remaining matches and prove his worth for the team.
5. Aaron Hardie :

Aaron Hardie will be batting down the order as Maxwell and Stoinis have left the team. The all-rounder showed some glimpses of his power-hitting and pace-bowling in the last game. He is an exciting all-rounder who can change the game and can be a future prospect. Hardie will have a big job to do in the coming game for his team in both departments.
6. Tim David :

Tim David got out for a golden duck in the last game, but we all know how dangerous he can be if he gets going. The big right-hander can smash any bowling attack but hasn’t performed as per his full potential. Australia will hope that he can make an impact with the bat because he needs only a few overs to turn the game around.
7. Matthew Wade (c & wk) :

Skipper Matthew Wade was one of the reasons that Australia could chase down that huge total in the last game. He took on Axar Patel in the 19th over and scored an unbeaten 16-ball 28 to take his team home. Wade will look to take his team to another win; that’s why he has chosen the finisher role for himself.
8. Nathan Ellis :

Nathan Ellis has looked good in patches. He took three wickets in the second game and bowled decently in the third. Ellis bowls some hard length, which creates doubt on the batter’s head. His slower ones are hard to pick up sometimes. His role is to provide Australia with some breakthroughs and contain runs at the back end of the innings.
9. Jason Behrendorff :

A superb 4-over spell of 1/12 when India scored 222 runs in 20 overs is just unbelievable. Jason Behrendorff has looked unplayable against India in the two games he has played. He has given away just 37 runs in 8 overs, and India have scored more than 10 RPO against other bowlers. That speaks volumes about him. The left-armer will be the hardest bowler for India.
10. Tanveer Sangha :

The young leg-spinner Tanveer Sangha will be the bowler that Australia rely on during the middle overs. He is a wicket-taking bowler and has done well domestically, but his performance so far has been below par. But Indian batters always have a weakness against leg spinners, and he will also get some assistance in Raipur to bowl with.
11. Kane Richardson :

Kane Richardson also bowled well in the third game for his 1/34. He is Australia’s most experienced bowler and has been with the team for almost a decade now. The pacer has also played in the IPL and can do well on the Indian pitches. He will hope to pick up a few early wickets, which can put pressure on the Indian middle order and allow Australia to sneak past them.
