India's tour of Australia 2025
IND vs AUS: Head to head records in T20I cricket

The first IND vs AUS T20I will be played on October 29 at the Manuka Oval, Canberra.
After the conclusion of the ODI series, Australian Cricket Team and Indian Cricket Team are set to battle in a T20I series, which comprises five encounters. The opening game will be played at the Manuka Oval, Canberra on October 29. The second and third T20Is will be played in Melbourne and Hobart respectively, while the last two clashes will take place in Gold Coast and Brisbane.
Suryakumar Yadav will lead the Men in Blue in the T20I series and will aim to avenge the ODI series defeat, which Australia won 2-1. Under his leadership, India won Asia Cup 2025 title last month and now they will look to replicate their performance on Australian soil.
Pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who was rested for the ODI series against Australia, will be back to lead India’s pace attack in the T20I series. Varun Chakravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav will have the responsibility of the spin department.

Suryakumar Yadav, Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill, Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, and Shivam Dube are the prominent batters in India squad. All-rounder Washington Sundar has returned to the shortest format after a long break, having last played a game in January this year.
Talking about Australia, they will be short of senior pacer Pat Cummins as he recovers from a back injury. Josh Hazlewood is the most experienced pacer in their squad, but he will only feature in the first two games. Sean Abbott will leave the squad after the third T20I to play in Sheffield Shield tournament.
Glenn Maxwell will join the squad for the last three matches and his return will strengthen Australia’s batting might. Uncapped seam-bowling all-rounder Mahli Beardman will be added to the squad for the last leg and is expected to make his international debut during the campaign. With doubts over Josh Inglis’ fitness due to his recovery from a calf injury, Josh Phillippe has been added as a secondary wicket-keeper in the T20I squad.
Australia crushed India in the ODI series 2-1 and will aim for a similar outcome in the T20I series with the home advantage on their side. On the other hand, the Suryakumar Yadav & Co. will leave no stones unturned to outplay the hosts.
