The IND vs BAN test will series will commence on September 19 in Chennai.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) named their 16-man squad for the IND vs BAN test series on Thursday. They have been forced to make one major change to their squad that defeated Pakistan in Rawalpindi in the two-match test series. Najmul Hossain Shanto will lead the visitors against Rohit Sharma’s team.

India will host Bangladesh for two test matches, starting on September 19 in Chennai and the second test will be played in Kanpur.

While India will start the series as firm favourites, they would remain wary of Bangladesh, who recently defeated Pakistan in a test series for the first time in history.
