Abhishek Sharma had a pretty good start to his international career. He slammed a century in only his second T20I to announce himself. He is currently the specialist opener in the squad and will be facing the new ball in the IND vs BAN T20I series.

2. Sanju Samson (wk)

With no Shubman Gill or Yashasvi Jaiswal in the squad, India will look to give Sanju Samson a chance at the top. The Rajasthan Royals captain has been in and out of the squad, but these three matches will be very important for him to cement his place in the Indian T20I setup.

3. Suryakumar Yadav (c)

Suryakumar Yadav is leading the side and will be the first name on the playing sheet for the hosts. After Virat Kohli’s retirement, Suryakumar is India’s new No. 3 in T20Is. He will have the responsibility to lead this young side to victory.

4. Riyan Parag

The last 12 months have been the best for Riyan Parag. He had a dream IPL season, which helped him earn his debut in ODIs and T20Is. He has done well in the limited chances he has gotten so far. A middle-order batter, who can bowl a few overs is what Indian team management has been looking for in the recent past and with Riyan offering it, he straightly walks into the Indian playing XI.

5. Rinku Singh

Rinku Singh is very important in India’s T20I plans for the coming years. He has certainly shown glimpses of a good finisher, and the upcoming three games will be important for him as well. Rinku will be another one to feature in the middle order in the T20I series.

6. Shivam Dube

Shivam Dube’s exploits at the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 have earned him a permanent spot in India’s T20I XI. The tall left-hander is known for murdering spin, and his role will be very important against Banglases, because the visitors have some really challenging spinners in their side.

7. Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya is training very hard, and he is now one of the most important members of the Indian T20I squad. After the retirement of seniors, Hardik now has a lot of responsibility on his shoulders and he himself will look to make an impact in the coming IND vs BAN T20Is.

8. Washington Sundar

Axar Patel has been rested, which makes Washington Sundar a key player for India. The Men in Blue want to groom him into a match-winning all-rounder. Sundar has been good with the ball, but needs to be consistent with the bat.

9. Ravi Bishnoi

Ravi Bishnoi has been the first-choice spinner in India’s second-string team. He has done a good job whenever he has got his chances. This series, he will be looking to spin his web around to deliver impact performances.

10. Arshdeep Singh

Left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh has been India’s go-to bowler in the shortest format. He has been India’s strike bowler in this format and with no senior bowler available for the IND vs BAN T20I series, his role will become even more crucial.

11. Mayank Yadav

Delhi-born pacer Mayank Yadav has been drafted into the squad after his breakthrough performances in the IPL 2024. Though he has been suffering from injury, his inclusion in the IND vs BAN T20Is indicates that India want to groom him for future. With his consistent speed, he can be very dangerous.
