On the other hand, the Najmul Hasan Shanto-led Bangladesh had a good group stage campaign. In Group D, Bangladesh played four games and won three of them, finishing second with six points to their name.
In their first Super 8 match, Bangladesh lost to Australia by by 28 runs (DLS method). If Bangladesh lose to India, they’ll more or less knocked out of semi-finals race.
