IND vs BAN 2024: Most runs, most wickets after 2nd T20I, Delhi

India won the second IND vs BAN T20I in Delhi.

The young Indian side cruised to a 86-run victory over Bangladesh in the second T20I at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi to seal the three-match series, on October 9.

Bangladesh after winning the toss and opting to bowl first, struggled to contain India’s aggressive batting. Despite losing wickets at regular intervals, the hosts posted a massive total of 221 runs.

Nitish Reddy led India with his explosive innings of 74, while Rinku Singh and Hardik Pandya added crucial firepower with their quickfire knocks of 53 and 32 respectively, propelling India to a commanding total.

Defending the massive total the Indian team took early control finishing the powerplay with three wickets to their name. Varun Chakaravarthy and Nitish Reddy were the stars of the show for India picking two crucial wickets each.

IND vs BAN: Most Runs

Young Indian all-rounder Nitish Reddy now leads the chart with a total of 90 runs, overtaking Hardik Pandya, who dropped down to second position with 71 runs after his impressive knock of 32 in the second game.

Rinku Singh’s explosive 53 propelled him into the top three, while Bangladesh’s Mehidy Hasan follows closely with 51 runs. Mahmudullah, with 42 runs for the series rounds off the list.

Varun Chakravarthy jumped to the top of the wicket-takers leaderboard with 5 wickets, thanks to the two crucial wickets he picked up in Delhi. Arshdeep Singh follows him next at second place now with 4 wickets to his name after another impressive bowling performance.

Bangladesh’s Mustafizur Rahman and Rishad Hossain have both entered the top five list, with 3 wickets each, while Washington Sundar rounds off the list with 2 wickets.
