India won the two-match IND vs BAN test series 2-0.

The Indian cricket team secured another home test series as they whitewashed Bangladesh in the two-test series. In both tests, though, victory wasn’t straightforward.

In Chennai, India were in trouble on day 1 when they were 144/6 after being asked to bat first. However, R Ashwin (113) and Ravindra Jadeja (86) then bailed the side out to take them to 376.

From thereon, it was a routine performance at home from India. The bowlers knocked out Bangladesh for only 149 before Rishabh Pant and Shubman Gill’s centuries batted the visitors out of the game. India eventually won by 280 runs with Ashwin taking a six-for in Bangladesh’s second innings.

The Kanpur test was significantly impacted by rain and a wet outfield as only 35 overs were possible on the first three days. India bowled Bangladesh out for 233 an hour into the second session on day 4. And then it was mayhem from the batters.

With crucial World Test Championship (WTC) points on the line, India needed to push for a win. The batters walloped 285 runs in only 34.4 overs. India recorded the fastest team 50, 100, 150, 200, and 250 in test cricket.

The bowlers once again did a clinical job to knock the opposition out for 146 runs. India chased down the target of 95 runs comfortably to complete another home series win.
