IND vs BAN 2024: Most runs, most wickets after 3rd T20I, Hyderabad

India won the third IND vs BAN T20I in Hyderabad by a huge margin.

The young Indian side has white-washed Bangladesh after cruising to a 133-run victory in the record-breaking third T20I at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. The final match of the series saw India post the highest-ever T20I total by a test-playing nation with a score of 297 runs.

India after winning the toss and opting to bat first, were at their destructive best as they amassed a record total of 297 runs. Sanju Samson recorded his maiden T20I century with an explosive innings of 111 off 47 balls. Sanju and the Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav were the stars of the Indian batting innings as they added 172 runs for the second wicket. Hardik Pandya and Riyan Parag with their quickfire 47 and 34 runs respectively powered India to close down on a huge total.

Defending the massive total, the Indian team took early control finishing the powerplay with three wickets to their name. Ravi Bishnoi impressed with his variations and finished the game with three wickets.

IND vs BAN: Most Runs

After his maiden T20I century, Sanju Samson has made a massive leap to the top of the leaderboard of run-scorers overtaking young all-rounder Nitish Reddy, who now has slipped to the fourth position. Hardik has maintained his second position on the list after playing an explosive innings of 47 in the third T20I.

Suryakumar Yadav’s half-century (75) has propelled him into the top three, while Nitish Reddy follows him closely with 90 runs to his name. Towhid Hridoy,’s half-century in the final game earned him the last spot on the list.

Varun Chakravarthy has maintained his status as the leading wicket-taker of the series with five wickets to his name. Tanzim Hasan has made a massive leap in the leaderboard picking three wickets in the final T20I and finishing with five wickets as the joint-highest wicket-taker of the series (behind on economy rate), Arshdeep Singh, who missed the final game of the series, follows him next at the third position with four wickets to his name.

Indian speedster Mayank Yadav and Bangladesh’s veteran Mustafizur Rahman conclude the list with four wickets each.
