Shakib Al Hasan suffered finger injury during IND vs BAN 1st test match in Chennai.

Couple of days before the second test between India and Bangladesh, Bangladesh head coach Chandika Hathurusingha has provided a massive update on veteran all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, who injured his finger while batting during the opening test of the two-match series in Chennai.

In the Chennai test, Bangladesh suffered a thrashing 280-run defeat at the hands of India. During the game, the visitors’ all-rounder Shakib got hit on his fingers while batting against Jasprit Bumrah and needed some treatment from the team physio.

After the end of the opening test, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) member Hannan Sarkar stated that they will take final call on Shakib’s availability for the next test match against India in Kanpur following a medical assessment.
