The Bangladesh test series will be crucial for Virat in order to prepare for the upcoming high-voltage test series against New Zealand (home) and the test series in Australia. Ahead of the two-match test series against Bangladesh, let’s take a look at the three huge milestones Kohli is eyeing to achieve.

The right-handed batter has scored 26,942 runs across all formats in 591 innings.

Tendulkar reached the 27000-run landmark in 623 innings and is the fastest batsman to do so. During the upcoming Bangladesh test series, Kohli is expected to break this record of Tendulkar’s.
