Following the cap presentation for his 100th test, Ashwin was given a guard of honour by his teammates as they paid tribute to his glorious career and contribution to Indian cricket.
The off-spinner made his India debut against West Indies in 2011 and gas been a mainstay for the Indian side in both bowling and batting departments. He boasts an impressive record of 507 wickets at an average of just over 23, including 35 five-wicket hauls. He’s also a handy batter, contributing over 3,300 runs with five centuries.
