IND vs ENG: Day 3 weather forecast for 1st test, Headingley, Leeds

IND vs ENG first test so far has been host to breathtaking cricketing action by both the teams.
The Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025 began on Friday (20th June) with the opening game of the five-match IND vs ENG test series underway at Headingley in Leeds. The two teams have been putting in the hard yards, and the game promises an exciting finish.
The first two days of the IND vs ENG game have been magnificent to watch. India, who were asked to bat first, came up with a gigantic batting effort. Three batters brought their best and racked up sensational centuries to put their team in a good position against England.
Opening batters Yashasvi Jaiswal (101) and KL Rahul (42) provided India with a brilliant start, adding 91 runs for the opening partnership. However, after that, it was skipper Shubman Gill (147), who stole the limelight, with his best test innings of his career.
If this was not enough, Rishabh Pant (134) also chipped in and hit his seventh test century. Based on the terrific batting effort from these three, the visitors piled up a big total of 471 runs. For England, Ben Stokes and Josh Tongue picked up four wickets each.
In response, England came up with a strong response as well. Even though they lost Zak Crawley (4) early, Ben Duckett (62) and Ollie Pope slammed half-centuries to put pressure on the opposition.
IND vs ENG: Day 3 weather forecast for 1st test, Headingley, Leeds
The rain played a bit of a part on day two of the ongoing first IND vs ENG Test. The weather for day three doesn’t look great either as there will be a cloud cover throughout the day, and also, there is rain predicted, but with less precipitation.
According to the weather report, there is a 30% chance of rain throughout the day. The temperatures is expected to range between a maximum of 20° C and a minimum of 14° C with a cloud cover of 58%.
