The rising star of Indian cricket Dhruv Jurel, continued his impressive run in the longest format with a fighting knock of 90 runs in the first innings against England in the ongoing fourth test in Ranchi. His valiant effort, helped the hosts to reach 307 runs.

The wicket-keeper batter made his test debut in the third test at Rajkot. He was able to bat in the first innings only, where he played a confident knock off 46 runs with the help of three sixes and two fours.

In the ongoing fourth test against Ben Stokes-England at the JSCA International Stadium Complex, Ranchi, Dhruv Jurel once again crushed England’s plans of bowling India out cheaply as the wicket-keeper batter struck his maiden half-century to keep his team alive on day 3 against the Ben Stokes-led side.

Following his impressive knock, legendary cricketer Sunil Gavaskar praised Jurel’s maturity during his 90-run knock in the first innings against England in Ranchi.
