IND vs NZ 2024: Most runs, most wickets after 1st test, Bengaluru

New Zealand won the first IND vs NZ test in Bengaluru by eight wickets.
New Zealand have created history after defeating India by eight wickets in the first test match of the three-match test series. This victory in Bengaluru marks their first test win on Indian soil after 36 years.
India, after winning the toss and opting to bat first, suffered a monumental batting collapse, getting bundled out for just 46 runs. The Indian first innings with the ball was no better either as they conceded a 356-run deficit. Rachin Ravindra was the star of the show for the Kiwis, scoring an excellent ton.
The Indian fightback started in their second innings, with the Asian Giants cutting down the massive deficit with the loss of just three wickets. However, a batting collapse against the second new ball saw the Indian innings wrapping up for 462, giving New Zealand a target of 107 runs.
New Zealand remained calm and survived the opening spell from Jasprit Bumrah to finish the run chase with eight wickets in hand. The Kiwis now lead the three-match series 1-0. The second game will be played from 24th October in Pune.
IND vs NZ: Most Runs
On the back of his brilliant hundred in the first innings, young Kiwi all-rounder Rachin Ravindra leads the runs chart with 172 runs. Following him on this list is Indian batter Sarfaraz Khan with 150 runs, Sarfaraz led the Indian comeback in the second innings with his impressive ton.
Rishabh Pant’s 99 in the second innings has propelled him to the third spot with 119 runs in the test, while New Zealand opener Devon Conway follows him with 108 runs. Virat Kohli with 70 runs for the game rounds off this list.

Matt Henry tops the wicket-takers leaderboard with eight wickets, thanks to the brilliant fifer that came on the second day of the test. Following him on this list in the second position is another Kiwi speedster, William O’Rourke, with seven wickets for the game.
Indian bowling trio Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav are in third, fourth and fifth position respectively, with three wickets each.
