Smriti Mandhana is the leading candidate to finish as India’s top scorer and one of the match’s highest-scoring batters.

The Indian opener has been in outstanding form and recently smashed 124 off 64 balls against Hong Kong. The innings saw her become the leading run-scorer in women’s cricket history. Mandhana is a massive threat to the Pakistan bowling attack.

Shafali Verma is another strong contender for the top run-scorer. The aggressive Indian opener can score runs rapidly in the powerplay and has always made an impact for India whenever she has been part of the XI.

She currently is the second-highest run-scorer in the Women’s Asia Cup behind Smriti Mandhana. Shafali could prove to be a major threat to the Pakistani bowlers in Dubai as she can easily snatch the match away from the opposition.

Muneeba Ali

For Pakistan, Muneeba Ali is likely to be the highest run-scorer in this thrilling contest. As an experienced top-order batter, she carries significant responsibility in Pakistan’s unit. She made a promising start to the tournament with a half-century in the first game against Thailand.

Deepti Sharma is arguably the best all-rounder in recent times. She is effective with both bat and ball and even won the Player of the Tournament award when India won the World Cup in 2025.

The experienced all-rounder has already made an impact in both games played in the Women’s Asia Cup 2026. Her consistency makes her a top choice for the highest wicket-taker in the India vs Pakistan clash.

Fatima Sana

The Pakistan captain Fatima Sana is a bowling all-rounder and one of Pakistan’s key pace options. She not only has the responsibility of leading the team but also of leading the attack with the ball and simultaneously contributing with the bat. If Pakistan are to challenge India, Sana’s wicket-taking ability will be crucial.

Sadia Iqbal

Pakistan’s Sadia Iqbal could emerge as one of the leading wicket-takers. The left-arm spinner was part of Pakistan’s playing XI against Thailand and was very impressive in her four-over spell.

Pakistan are looking to challenge the Indian women’s team, and they will rely primarily on Iqbal to take wickets consistently.
