The second IND vs SA test at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati will begin on November 22.
Indian Cricket Team are set to square off with South Africa Cricket Team in the second test at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. The clash, which will be a do-or-die game for India, will commence on November 22 (Saturday).
South Africa lead the two-match series 1-0 after winning the opening game by 30 runs. The Temba Bavuma & Co. defended a 124-run target in the clash on back of the strong bowling performance. Simon Harmer clinched two four-wicket hauls in the encounter to win the Player of the Match award. Keshav Maharaj and Marco Jansen also contributed to deny any chance of victory to India.
The Proteas registered a test victory in India after 15 years. In the second test, they will aim for their series win in India after 25 years. Under Hansie Cronje’s captaincy, the Proteas won the series back in India in 2000.

Talking about India, they will be under immense pressure ahead of the second test as they need to win the clash at any cost to level the series. They suffered a humiliating whitewash at home against New Zealand 3-0 last year, and another home series defeat will be a heartbreak for the players as well as fans.
For India, captain Gill will miss the next game after sustaining a neck injury while batting in the first encounter. South Africa have added pacer Lungi Ngidi to their squad as a cover for Kagiso Rabada as the latter recovers from a rib injury.
Meanwhile, the second test between India and South Africa in Guwahati will start 30 minutes earlier than the first test due to early sunrise and sunset in the region. Moreover, it will observe a tea break ahead of the lunch break, which will happen for the first time in a test match in India.
