India made one change to their playing XI for the third IND vs SA ODI in Visakhapatnam.
Indian Cricket Team will look to avoid a calamity in Visakhapatnam as they face South Africa in the third and last ODI of the three-match series. The Proteas levelled the series in Raipur with an astonishing chase, pushing it to a decider. South Africa last won an ODI series on Indian soil back in 2015.
The Proteas have an opportunity to land a double blow on India by winning the ODI series after a historic whitewash in tests. The Gautam Gambhir-led Indian team would be keen on not squandering the ODI series that it started on a victorious note.
Tilak Varma in, Washington Sundar out

Bolstering the batting unit, India have brought in a left-hander into the playing XI. Tilak Varma has replaced the all-rounder Washington Sundar for the third ODI. This will be the fifth ODI appearance for the 23-year-old. He last played an ODI match almost two years back against the same opposition in Paarl, South Africa.
For Washington Sundar, this series has been disappointing. The all-rounder could only accumulate 14 runs with the bat in the first two ODIs. He looked jittery and could never find his rhythm. In Raipur, Washington took seven deliveries to score a run and was dismissed on the eighth.
The all-rounder bowled a total of just seven overs in two matches and failed to pick up any wickets.
India opt to field first
Winning the toss after 20 matches, the Men in Blue have opted to field first in Visakhapatnam. This would be the first time in the series that India would be chasing and would not have to bowl in the second innings with dew, which was one of the major factors in India’s loss in Raipur.
