IND vs WI 1st T20I Live - Toss Result, Confirmed Playing 11 & Pre Match Updates
The IND vs WI 1st T20I will be played at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Thursday, October 6.
After an action-packed ODI series, India and West Indies are preparing for the five-match T20I series. India won the ODI series 2-1, but the way West Indies bounced back in the final ODI, they must be confident for the T20I series.
The first T20I is scheduled to start at 7 PM IST on Tuesday at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. Shreyas Iyer and his men are coming off a successful campaign in the Asian Games 2026, where they clinched the gold medal after beating Pakistan in the final.
Hence, India will be looking for a winning start to this series. They are the no. 1 ranked T20I team and will look to carry on their domination. On the other hand, Shai Hope, who hit century in last ODI, will lead the hosts.
West Indies have a strong T20I squad, and the return of Shimron Hetmyer, Rovman Powell, Akeal Hosein, and Romario Shepherd will add more depth to the team.
