IND vs WI: Weather forecast for T20 World Cup 2026 match 52, Kolkata (1st March)

India and the West Indies are scheduled to clash in their last match of the Super 8 round in the T20 World Cup 2026. The IND vs WI encounter will be played at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Sunday, March 1.

In Group 2, the washed-out match between Pakistan and New Zealand made the semi-final qualification scenario a little tricky.

Pakistan failed to earn the required NRR to progress to the semis despite a victory against Sri Lanka in their last match of the Super 8 round. If the IND vs WI match is affected by rain, it will make a big impact on the semis scenario.

The IND vs WI encounter will start at 7 PM (IST) on Match 1 (Sunday). According to weather.com, the temperature of Kolkata City on Sunday will be 33° Celsius in the afternoon and 23° Celsius at night. The sky will be partly cloudy in the afternoon but clear at night.

The chances of rain are 1% in the morning and 8% at night. At the exact time of the match at 7 PM IST, the chance of rain is just 1%. Hence, the IND vs WI match will not be affected by rain.

Meanwhile, both India and the West Indies have won one match and lost one game in the Super 8 Round. The Suryakumar Yadav & Co. lost to South Africa by 76 runs before crushing Zimbabwe by 72 runs.

On the other hand, Shai Hope & Co. crushed Zimbabwe by a huge margin of 107 runs in the first game, but later lost to the Proteas by nine wickets.
