No place for Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli as India A squad for the Australia series announced

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma were expected to play in the three games for India A to prepare for the Australia tour.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the India A squad for the one-dayers against Australia A. The two teams will be locking horns with each other in the three-match 50-over series, ahead of India’s white-ball tour to Australia in October-November.
The three ODIs between India A and Australia A will be played on September 30, October 3, and October 5, 2025. All the games will be played at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur and will be a great preparation for the Indian players to prepare for the ODIs and T20Is against Australia.
Rajat Patidar will be leading the A side in the first game, while there was no place for Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, who were anticipated to play in the three games to prepare for the Australia tour. The domestic and the Indian Premier League (IPL) performers were rewarded, and it will be a great opportunity for them to stamp their authority.
In the second and third games, Tilak Varma will be leading the side, while Rajat Patidar will act as vice-captain. The squad features excited players in Abhishek Sharma, Prabhsimran Singh, Riyan Parag, Ayush Badoni, Arshdeep Singh and others.
