India will be playing five-match home test series against England in their next assignment.

Team India have climbed to the top of the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 points table after a big win against South Africa at Newlands Stadium in Cape Town. India with 26 overall points and 54.16 PCT points have secured the top spot in the points table. India suffered a major setback in Centurion and missed the chance to win their first-ever test series in South Africa. India lost the first test match by an innings and 32 runs.

Now India’s ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 caravan will move back home for a five-match test series against England. India have four more series left to play in the ongoing cycle. They have played two consecutive finals in the big ICC event, but failed to win a title on both the occasions. New Zealand defeated India in WTC final 2021 and last year Australia thrashed India by a huge margin in the WTC final 2023.
