When will India play their next test match after conclusion of the West Indies series?

India registered a 2-0 victory against West Indies in the two-match test series.
Indian Cricket Team completely dominated the West Indies Cricket Team in the two-match test series that concluded on Tuesday, October 14. The Shubman Gill & Co. crushed the Roston Chase-led side in the first test by an innings and 140 runs and then won the second game by seven wickets.
Left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav grabbed the limelight in the second test in Delhi with a total of eight wickets. He took a five-wicket haul in the first innings and then three wickets in the second to win Player of the Match award.
All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was adjudged Player of the Series for his all-round show in the series. The 36-year-old hammered a century and clinched a four-wicket haul in the first test. In the second test, he did not get a chance to bat but took four wickets across both innings.
Notably, India have played two series in the ongoing ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 so far. Prior to the West Indies series, the Shubman Gill & Co. registered a 2-2 draw against England in a five-match series in August. They hold the third spot in ICC WTC 2025-27 points table with a win percentage (PCT) of 61.90.
India will play their next test match against South Africa

India are scheduled to play a home test series against South Africa in November and the campaign will witness two games. The first test will begin on November 14 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata and will be India’s next test cricket match. The second game will be played from November 22 to 26 at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati.
India and South Africa will also clash in three ODIs and five T20I games during the series. The three ODIs will be played on November 30, December 3 and 6. The five T20I matches are scheduled to be played from December 9 to 19.
India will be next seen in action in the white-ball tour of Australia. Shubman Gill will lead the side in three ODIs from October 19 to 25. The five T20I games will be played from October 29 to November 8, where Suryakumar Yadav will lead the Men in Blue.

India will face South Africa in their next test series. The first test will start on November 14.
