India have been decent in the ODIs at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide.

The Indian Cricket Team are currently locking horns with the Australian Cricket Team in a three-match ODI series. The first game of the series, which took place in Perth on Sunday, didn’t go in their favour as they lost the game by a margin of seven wickets (DLS method).

The major reason behind their loss was the poor batting, which failed completely. Put into bat, they managed only 136 in the 26 overs that they batted due to rain. With the ball, they had their moments but couldn’t restrict Australia, who chased the target with seven wickets in hand.

The focus now will be on the next match of the series, which will be played at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide. The match will be played on October 23 and now it will be a must-win game for India as they are already 1-0 down in the three-match series.

What is India’s ODI record at the Adelaide Oval?

The second IND vs AUS ODI is around the corner and and going into the match India would fancy themselves to win. This is because they have a great track record here in the venue, especially in ODI cricket.

The Men in Blue have played 15 ODIs at the Adelaide Oval and out of those, they have emerged winners nine times, while one game ended in a tie. Their first game at the venue came in 1980, while the last outing was in 2019 against Australia.

However, one thing that will be bothering them will be their record against Australia at the venue in ODIs. The two teams have locked horns with each other six times here and out of this, India have won just two, while four games have gone in favour of Australia.

The last game at the venue saw India winning by six wickets in 2019. They would be keen to win the upcoming match as well. Shubman Gill, who is the ODI skipper, would want to register the first win as a captain, having faced a thrashing in the opening game in Perth.

When will the second IND vs AUS ODI take place?

The second IND vs AUS ODI will be played on October 23.

Who won the first IND vs AUS ODI?

Australia won the first ODI against India in Perth.
