Indian Men's Cricket Team's schedule revealed for post-IPL 2026

Indian Cricket Team recently won the T20 World Cup 2026.
There will no off-season for the Indian Cricket Team this year. India, who are fresh off their T20 World Cup 2026 win, will have a packed schedule after the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. They will tour eight countries as they begin their quest for ICC Cricket World Cup 2027 and ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 final.
India will be seen in action just after the IPL as Afghanistan will be here for a one-off test, which will be played from June 6 to June 10. After that, the two teams will play three One Day Internationals spread across Dharamsala, Lucknow, and Chennai later that month.
India will then fly to UK, where they might play a three-match T20I series against Ireland, according to cricbuzz, and white-ball series against England. Their England tour includes five T20s held at Chester-le-Street, Manchester, Nottingham, Bristol and Southampton. Then there will be three ODIs, with the final game of the series taking place at Lord’s on July 19, preceded by matches in Birmingham and Cardiff.
After England tour, India will fly to Sri Lanka, where they will play two Test matches and three T20Is. They have three T20Is lined up after that against Afghanistan in the UAE. India’s schedule features T20Is and ODIs against Bangladesh but that will be subjected to government permission due to political tensions.
Then, the West Indies will tour India for three ODIs and five T20Is in September-October. India will also play the Asian Games in Nagoya as defending gold medalists. This means that the two Indian squads could be playing international cricket at the same time.
India will then tour New Zealand for a multi-format series, which includes five ODIs, five T20Is and two Tests that run into early December. India will then head home to play Sri Lanka next and then welcome Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in January-February 2027
