Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah return; Yashasvi Jaiswal DROPPED as India announce squad for England ODIs

India and England are set to clash in five T20Is and three ODIs in July.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the squad for the forthcoming ODI series against England on Sunday, June 21. After the one-off test and ODI series against Afghanistan, India are set to tour Ireland and England.
India are scheduled to play two T20I games against Ireland. The encounters will take place on June 26 and 28. It will be followed by a T20I and ODI series against England. The five T20I games will be played first from July 1 to 11.
The England vs India ODI series will witness the opening clash on July 14 at Edgbaston, Birmingham. The second game will be played on July 16 at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff, while the final encounter will take place on July 19 at Lord’s, London.
Jasprit Bumrah and Virat Kohli return for ODI series against England

Pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who last played an ODI in 2023, has returned for the ODI series against England. Virat Kohli also has been named in the side but his participation will be subjected to his fitness.
What came as a shock was the snub of Yashasvi Jaiswal, who slammed a hundred in the last ODI against Afghanistan. Axar Patel also will be making his comeback after getting rested in Afghanistan ODIs. He has replaced Harsh Dubey, who was impressive in last series.
Hardik Pandya continues to miss out due to injury, while Nitish Kumar Reddy retained his place. Bumrah, Prasidh Krishna, Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh, Gurnoor Brar are the pacers along with Washington Sundar, Patel and Kuldeep Yadav as spinners.
