India to tour England in July for 5 T20Is and 3 ODIs as ECB announces schedule of home summer 2026

England will also host the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in 2026.
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced the home schedule of the England men’s and women’s teams for next year, 2026. The England men’s team will face the India men’s team in 5 T20Is and 3 ODIs in 2026.
This blockbuster series will be played from July 1 to July 19. The Indian men’s team will play a total of eight white-ball matches.
The assignment will begin with five T20Is starting July 1 at Riverside Ground in Durham. The remaining T20Is will be held on 4 July (Old Trafford), 7 July (Trent Bridge), 9 July (Bristol), and 11 July (Utilita Bowl, Southampton).
A three-match ODI series will follow the T20Is, with matches set for July 14 at Edgbaston, July 16 at Sophia Gardens, and July 19 at the storied Lord’s. Two of the top-ranked limited-overs teams in the world will square off in these high-stakes contests during England’s white-ball summer.

1st T20I: 1 July at Riverside, Durham
2nd T20I: 4 July at Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester
3rd T20I: 7 July at Trent Bridge, Nottingham
4th T20I: 9 July at the Seat Unique Stadium, Bristol
5th T20I: 11 July at Utilita Bowl, Southampton
Schedule England vs India Men’s ODI matches in 2026
1st ODI: 14 July at Edgbaston, Birmingham
2nd ODI: 16 July at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff
3rd ODI: 19 July at Lord’s, London
Before the India men’s series, England men will also face New Zealand for a series of three tests from June 4 to June 25. The three tests will be played at Lord’s, the Oval, and Trent Bridge. After facing India, England will host Pakistan for three tests from August 19 to September 9, with Leeds, Lord’s, and Edgbaston as venues.
Sri Lanka will travel to the UK to face England in a series of three ODIs and three T20Is from September 15 to September 27.
India women to play England women for three T20Is and one-off Test
Along with the Indian men, the Indian women’s team will also travel to England to face off against the host women’s team. The Indian women will play three T20Is and a one-off test from May 28 to July 10.
Schedule of India Women’s T20I series and one-off Test in England:
1st T20I—May 28—Ambassador Cruise Line Ground, Chelmsford
2nd T20I—May 30—Seat Unique Stadium, Bristol
3rd T20I—June 3—The Cooper Associates County Ground, Taunton.
One-off Test—July 10—Lord’s, London
Apart from India, women’s England will also host the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 on home soil from 12 June to 15 July. On either side of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, Nat Sciver-Brunt will lead England Women in a packed home schedule featuring New Zealand and Ireland.
England women will face New Zealand in three T20Is and three ODIs from May 10 to May 25. The ODIs will be played at Durham, Northampton, and Cardiff, while the T20Is will be played at Derby, Canterbury, and Hove.
England women will then play Ireland in three ODIs from September 1 to September 6 at Leicester, Derby, and Worcester.
