India U19 are placed in the Group A of the Asia Cup 2025.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday, November 28 announced the India U19 squad for the Asia Cup 2025. The tournament will be played in Dubai from 12th December.

Young Mumbai batter Ayush Mhatre has been named as captain of the Indian U19 team. He has been leading the team well and did a great job on India U19’s recent tours to England and Australia. 

He will be accompanied by 14-year-old sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi. He was part of the India squad for the Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025 as well and set the stage on fire with his fierce batting, taking India off to a flyer in almost every game. 

Vihaan Malhotra has been appointed as a vice-captain, while Abhigyan Kundu, Harvansh Singh are the two keepers in the team. It will be a great opportunity for the young guns to showcase their talent at the big stage and help the team win.

India are placed in Group A along with Pakistan and two qualifiers. The Group B features Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Qualifier 2.
