The Indian Cricket Team’s next campaign will be Asia Cup 2025 in September.

The five-match test series between the Indian Cricket Team and the England Cricket Team concluded on Monday, August 4. The thrilling series ended in a 2-2 draw after Shubman Gill & Co. won the fifth and the final test at The Oval, London by six runs.

The series witnessed a roller-coaster ride with England winning two games out of the first three to gain a 2-1 lead. However, India made a fabulous comeback to draw the fourth test and win the final encounter to level the series eventually.

Shubman Gill and Mohammed Siraj were stand-out performers for India in the series. While Gill finished as the highest run-scorer with 754 runs and won Player of the Series award, Siraj ended as the highest wicket-taker with 23 wickets and played a crucial role in the team’s victory at Edgbaston and The Oval.

India’s white-ball series against Bangladesh in August has been postponed

Notably, India were scheduled to face Bangladesh in a T20I and ODI series in August; however, the campaign was postponed to September 2026 due to international cricketing commitments and scheduling convenience of both teams.

As per the confirmed schedule, Indian Cricket Team’s next international campaign is Asia Cup 2025, which will commence on September 9 in the UAE. India, the defending champions of the tournament, will battle with seven other teams for the title. They are placed in Group A alongside Pakistan, UAE, and Oman in the tournament.

Later, India will face the West Indies in a two-match test series at home in October, which will be their second test series in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27. Later, the Men in Blue will tour Australia for a white-ball series from October to November. During the tour, both sides will clash in three ODIs and five T20Is.

The Australia tour will be followed by a multi-format series against South Africa at home starting November 14. India will clash with the Proteas in two tests, three ODIs, and five T20I games, with the final T20I game scheduled to be played on December 19.
