How Indian cricketers fared at ICC Awards 2024?

The ICC Awards 2024 was the 20th edition of the ICC Awards.

All winners of the ICC Awards 2024 have been announced by the governing council. Plenty of Indian stars earned recognition at the ICC Awards 2024 for their excellent performances last year.

Two Indian men’s and one Indian women’s cricketers bagged Cricketer of The Year awards in different categories, while a few stars also made it into the Team of The Year in different formats.

Jasprit Bumrah headlined the ICC Awards 2024. He bagged two premier awards: Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year and ICC Men’s Test Cricket of the Year. Bumrah was in an incredible form in 2024: he picked 71 test wickets at an average of 14.92 and was the Man of the Tournament at the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, which India won.

Arshdeep Singh, who was the joint-leading wicket-taker at the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 and was the second-highest wicket-taker in T20Is in 2024 (Full Member nations only), was named the ICC Men’s T20I Cricket of the Year.

Smriti Mandhana was picked as the ICC Women’s ODI Cricket of the Year for being the top-scorer in the format last year.

Apart from these, the likes of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, Richa Ghosh, Deepti Sharma, and Hardik Pandya made it into different Teams of the Year.
