How many Indian cricketers are part of the Lord's honors boards?

India have played 19 tests at the Lord’s from 1932 to 2021.
Known as the “Home of Cricket,” Lord’s Cricket Ground has a unique place in cricket history, particularly in test cricket. Doing well at the Lord’s has long been regarded as a significant accomplishment for visiting teams like India. At this ancient location, India have produced some great performances despite numerous obstacles over the years.
A spot on the Honors Board, which is given to players who reach a century, take five wickets in an innings, or take 10 wickets in a match, is one of the greatest individual honours at the Lord’s. For Indian cricketers, having their name inscribed there is a testament to their excellence and legacy, which is appreciated by both peers and supporters.
Let’s take a look at all the Indian players—batters and bowlers—who have had their names etched on the Lord’s honors board.
Indian cricketers part of the Lord’s honors boards
The first Indian batter to get onto the Lord’s Honors Board was the legendary Vinoo Mankad. He got onto the board for his 182 in the 1952 test against England. The latest entrant onto the Lord’s honors board was KL Rahul, who made 100* in the 2025 Lord’s test.
Dilip Vengsarkar played three tests at Lord’s and scored centuries in each of them. He remains the only Indian and Asian batter to score a hat-trick of centuries at the venue.
Sourav Ganguly hit 131 in only his maiden test of his India career, at the Lord’s, to get his name onto the Honors Boards. Former India coach Ravi Shastri is also on the board, along with ex-captain Mohammed Azharuddin.
Notable names like Sunil Gavaskar, Vijay Hazare, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and many more played multiple tests at the Lord’s but failed to get their name on the honors board.
Coming to the bowling side, legendary India pacer Mohammad Nisar was the first Indian bowler to etch his name onto the Lord’s honors board. He achieved the feat in India’s first-ever test in England at the venue in 1932.
The bowlers’ list also features Vinoo Mankad, who took a fifer in the same test at Lord’s in 1952, where he had scored a century. The most recent entrant for India is Jasprit Bumrah, who picked 5/74* at the venue in 2025.
Mohammed Siraj missed out on the honors board as he picked four wickets in each innings of India’s 2021 Lord’s test win over England.
