Indian cricketers who retired in 2024
As many as 10 Indian cricketers have taken retirements in 2024 so far.
The year 2024 has brought mixed emotions for the Indian fans. The Men in Blue ended their ICC drought by winning the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 under the leadership of Rohit Sharma. But soon after that, three legendary Indian cricketers retired from the shortest format.
Further, more than half a dozen Indian cricketers have retired from international cricket this year. In this article, we will see them all.
List of Indian cricketers who retired in 2024:

2. Varun Aaron (All formats)
Jharkhand’s right-arm pacer Varun Aaron also retired after the Ranji Trophy 2023-24. Varun was a promising star who could bowl at a high pace but injuries hurt him throughout his career. He played nine tests and nine ODIs for India between 2011 and 2015 and took 29 wickets in his career.

7. Ravindra Jadeja (T20Is)
Veteran Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was the third Indian player to announce his T20I retirement after winning the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. The all-rounder didn’t have a great tournament, but he remained a crucial part of the side for over a decade because of the balance he provided.
Since making his T20I debut in 2009, Jadeja played 74 T20Is. He took 54 wickets at an economy rate of 7.13 and also scored 515 runs with the bat.
8. Shikhar Dhawan (All formats)

Dhawan officially retired from all forms of the game, including the IPL, in August. The southpaw played for India between 2010 and 2022, featuring in 34 tests, 167 ODIs and 68 T20Is. He scored 10867 runs overall with 24 centuries and 55 half-centuries in international cricket.
9. Barinder Sran (All formats)
Left-arm pacer from Punjab Barinder Sran retired at the age of 31. He had a promising start to his career when he made his T20I debut in June 2016 against Zimbabwe.
