The Super Kings have been one of the most consistent sides in the history of the tournament and will be looking to give an apt farewell to their skipper MS Dhoni, who is likely to play his last IPL this season.
Chennai Super Kings boast of a great squad, with the side making some solid additions in the IPL Auction 2023. The Yellow Army is surely the side to beat in the tournament and are one of the top contenders to win the title this season with the addition of some big names to their ranks.
English red-ball skipper Ben Stokes was roped by the franchise for a whopping price of ₹ 16.25 crores. Stokes is one of the most decorated players in the limited overs format and his partnership alongside Ravindra Jadeja and Moeen Ali could be a lethal combination for the Super Kings this season.
