IPL 2023 Final: CSK vs GT - Weather Report Today, 29th May (Monday)

The IPL 2023 final on May 28th was postponed to reserve day (29th) due to rain in Ahmedabad.
The Indian Premier League (IPL 2023) final between the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Gujarat Titans (GT) was washed out due to rain on Sunday, May 28 night at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
The summit clash has been postponed to a reserve day which is Monday (May 29) after a nearly-packed stadium with fans had to wait at least 4 to 5 hours for the latest update.
While everyone was checking and waiting for the toss, Ahmedabad weather had other plans, and a cricket match was not one of them. The formal decision was made at about 11 p.m. (IST) because the conditions at the ground appeared to be unfit for a cricket match.
The rain began at 6 PM (IST) in Ahmedabad and stopped for a few minutes around 9 PM (IST) when the players walked around the middle to assess the circumstances. However, the relentless rain returned, and the game was canceled.
Weather forecast in Ahmedabad on May 29 for the CSK vs GT IPL 2023 final
Unlike, May 28, Sunday, when the rain gods were in their full flow and heavy downpour soaked the Narendra Modi Stadium, Monday seems to be conducive to a cracker of a game, albeit with a small dash of the possibility of rain.
Multiple sources have claimed that it is likely to remain sunny throughout the morning hours, with few clouds hovering in the sky as the day proceeds. Online weather apps have suggested that the weather is forecast to stay gloomy in the hours leading up to the match (5 and 6 PM), but to improve in the evening.
The clouds are expected to clear by 7 p.m., with no rain expected for the rest of the day (when the match takes place).
In case of rains unexpectedly play spoilsport on Monday night as well, Gujarat Titans will be declared winners of the season as they had finished at the top of the table in the league phase.
