Delhi Capitals' all-rounder Mitchell Marsh will fly back home for his wedding.

Struggling to gain Momentum in the IPL 2023, Delhi Capitals are set to face another setback. Capitals' all-rounder and Number 3 batter in the previous two games, Mitchell Marsh is set to miss a few games in the IPL 2023. Marsh will be flying back home for a week due to some personal reasons. Marsh has scored only 4 runs in 2 innings for DC. He was out on a duck against Lucknow Super Giants and got out only on 4 runs against Gujarat Titans.

Mitchell Marsh to fly back home for his wedding

As per the media reports, Mitchell Marsh is flying back home for his wedding scheduled for next week. Marsh got engaged to his long-time girlfriend Greta Mack in September 2021. 31 year old Mitchell Marsh will be tying the knot with Greta Mack in mid season of IPL 2023. Due to his departure back to Australia, Marsh will be missing out on 2-3 Delhi Capitals' games. Marsh's departure will also put DC under pressure. They have been struggling to register their first win this season.

Delhi Capitals struggled to carry the momentum throughout the game to earn 2 points in the table. Delhi’s regular captain Rishabh Pant is already out of the action due to his massive accident a few months ago. Now Marsh's departure will make them brainstorm to find a perfect batter for the Number 3 option. Marsh may have failed in the opening two games but his performance for Australia in this format has given confidence to Capitals captain David Warner.

Guwahati will be hosting Delhi Capitals' next encounter against a well balanced Rajasthan Royals on Saturday evening. The Royals will be hungry to bounce back after a narrow loss against Punjab Kings. Delhi will have a chance to reshuffle its lineup and be ready with a match winning team combination for the upcoming games.
