Gujarat Titans defeated Punjab Kings in a last-over thriller to add 2 more points in their bag in the IPL 2023.
Defending Champions Gujarat Titans kept their dominance in the Indian Premier League going. Titans defeated Punjab Kings in a tight run chase of 154 runs at IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali. Shubhman Gill with his 67 runs knock helped Titans chase down Punjab's total. Shubhman Gill kept the game under his reach for the Titans. In the last over, Sam Curran tried his best to overturn the game but Iceman of Gujarat Titans, Rahul Tewatia with composed mindset helped his team cross the line. Once again Punjab Kings batters failed to convert their start in big numbers. They kept losing wickets after short partnerships. In-form Shikhar Dhawan got out for just 8 runs. Playing his first game for GT this season, Mohit Sharma picked up 2 wickets in just 18 runs in his quota of 4 overs. Rashid was also economical with 26 runs in 4 overs with a wicket.
