29-year-old Saurasthran all-rounder Prerak Mankad anchored Lucknow's innings well and provided Lucknow a much needed in their quest for a playoff berth. Prerak Mankad has also played an important role for Saurashtra in their dominance in the domestic circuit. A right hand better and right arm medium pace bowler Mankad had played 46 games for Saurashtra in the Ranji Trophy. Batting in the middle order he has scored 2006 runs with a century and 14 half-centuries. He also has 43 wickets under his name to prove himself as an all-rounder. 

In T-20 cricket, Mankad also had done a decent job as an all-rounder, Mankad in 43 T20 games and scored 877 runs with 7 half-centuries and a strike rate of 142.60. He is known for hitting big shots in the Indian domestic circuit. He also took 22 wickets in 43 games. In List-A cricket also Mankad proved a match-winner for Saurashtra. He played 53 games and picked up 38 wickets and also scored 1535 runs with 3 centuries and 7 half-centuries.
