Indian pacer Harshal Patel entered the IPL 2024 auction at a base price of 2 crores, and he got sold to Punjab Kings for a whopping price of 11.75 crores. There was a bidding war between PBKS, GT and LSG for Indian bowler Harshal Patel.

Harshal Patel’s journey in Indian Premier League (IPL) has been nothing short of remarkable, marked by stellar performances and memorable achievements. The seasoned bowler entered IPL scene in 2012 when he was acquired by Royal Challengers Bangalore. Over the years, he has donned the colours of different franchises, showcasing his versatility and skill.

In 2021 IPL season with the Royal Challengers Bangalore, Patel etched his name in history by becoming the first bowler to claim a 5-wicket haul against the mighty Mumbai Indians, finishing with exceptional figures of 5-27. In the 2022 IPL auction, Patel’s exceptional skills were recognized once again as he was secured by Royal Challengers Bangalore for a noteworthy ₹10.75 crores. In IPL 2023 he couldn’t bring out the same performance as he showed in the earlier season.
