IPL 2024: Match 1 CSK vs RCB tickets price, when and where to buy - all you need to know

The 17th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2204) is set to begin on 22nd March with a high voltage encounter between defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (CSK) at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium. Lions’ Den is ready to host the curtain raiser game of the IPL 2024.

IPL 2024 is set to attract large audience at the ground as well as through TV and OTT platforms. MS Dhoni decided prolong his cricket career only for the love of fans and Chennai is likely to witness a sea of crowd coming in for the opening game between CSK and RCB on 22nd March.

When and where to buy tickets for match 1 of IPL 2024 – CSK vs RCB

The sale of tickets for CSK’s first match against RCB will go live online at Paytm on 18th March. Fans will be able buy tickets from 9:30 AM through Paytm and Insider.in. The Chennai Super Kings CEO KS Vishwanathan announced through a statement, “Tickets at the Chepauk will be sold from 9:30 AM onwards on the 18th March 2024 (Monday) though Paytm and insider.in.”

All the stands will be up through online sale. The price for C,D and E lower stands will be 1,700 rupees. Price for I,J,K,C,D and E upper stands will be 4,000 rupees. I,J and K lower stands are priced at 4,500 rupees, while the costliest will be KMK Terrace, which will cost 7,500 rupees per ticket.

Chennai Super Kings won their fifth IPL title in the previous season defeating Gujarat Titans (GT) in the final played at the Narendra Modi International Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. CSK will be looking to get their hands on the trophy for record sixth time. MS Dhoni is most likely to bow out of the game at end of this season.
