IPL 2024: Full list of commentators announced by official streaming platform JioCinema

JioCinema holds the official digital streaming rights of the IPL 2024.

Ahead of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season, official streaming platform of the tournament in India, JioCinema unveiled list of commentators for several languages.

Cricket fans can watch the upcoming prestigious tournament on the app for free in 12 languages like – English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bhojpuri, Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, with Haryanvi making its debut in the IPL 2024 season.

The IPL 2024 opening game will be played between five-time champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on March 22. Earlier, BCCI announced the fixtures for the first 21 games of the IPL 2024 due to the upcoming general elections in the country.

The first leg will be played from March 22 to April 7 in home and away format. While the Indian cricketing body is yet to finalize the schedule of whole IPL 2024, Jio Cinema has announced the full list of commentators to give a smooth experience to their fans.

Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag will make his debut in the Haryanvi language presentation on JioCinema. While renowned player Ajay Jadeja will debut as a Gujarati language expert, also appearing in Hindi and Hangout feeds.

Two-time IPL-winning all-rounder Shane Watson will continue his journey with JioCinema. Former Director of Cricket for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Mike Hesson, will also join as an expert. 

Former Indian cricketers like Zaheer Khan, Suresh Raina, Aakash Chopra will be seen doing commentary in Hindi. For Marathi Language, Kedhar Jadhav, Siddesh Lad, Dhawal Kulkarni, and many more will be seen doing commentary.

Experts like Ravi Kishan, Mohd Saif, Shivam Singh, and Satya Prakash will be seen doing commentary in Bhojupri for the upcoming IPL 2024. Legendary cricketer Jhulan Goswami along with others, will be doing Bengali commentary throughout the 2024 season.
