Gujarat Titans will play their first match of IPL 2024 against Mumbai Indians.

Gujarat Titans enjoyed a strong season in IPL 2023, performing exceptionally well until the final match, where they suffered a heartbreaking loss on the last ball. As they gear up for IPL 2024 commencing on 22nd March 2024, the Titans are determined to start the new season on a high and aim for redemption. Their first match is scheduled against Mumbai Indians on 24th March.

Gujarat Titans secured the runners-up position in IPL 2023

The Gujarat Titans concluded their IPL campaign securing the runners-up position in the tournament. Through the 14 league games they participated in, the team emerged victorious in 10 matches, while facing defeat in the remaining four.

After losing Qualifier 1 against Chennai Super Kings, they displayed resilience by winning Qualifier 2 against Mumbai Indians. However, despite their valiant efforts, they couldn’t clinch the title and suffered defeat in the final against Chennai Super Kings.

In total, the Gujarat Titans played 17 matches, winning 11 and losing six. Shubman Gill stood out as their top scorer and also secured the Orange Cap with 890 runs in 17 matches. Meanwhile, Mohammed Shami emerged as the leading wicket-taker and also claimed the Purple Cap with 28 wickets in 17 matches.
