[Watch] Nitish Kumar Reddy takes a stunner at boundary line to end Quinton de Kock's innings for 2

Nitish Kumar Reddy took an outstanding catch at the boundary line to get rid of Quinton de Kock.
In match No. 57 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, Sunrisers Hyderabadâs (SRH) fielder Nitish Kumar Reddy produced a stunning catch at the boundary rope to end Lucknow Super Giantsâ (LSG) opener Quinton de Kockâs innings at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on May 8.
After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Lucknow openers KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock played the first two overs decently as the duo added 13 runs.
SRH skipper Pat Cummins then brought Bhuvneshwar into the attack to bowl his second over. In the very first delivery, de Kock was trying to lift-up the run rate, but his innings was cut- short after Reddy took a blinder at the boundary rope.
Bhuvneshwar bowled a length ball on the pads, and de Kock got inside the line and then whipped the delivery towards the backward square leg.
The ball seemed to go over Reddyâs head, but the Hyderabad fielder timed his jump to perfection and took the catch. Nitish then realized that he was going over the boundary lines, and he lobbed the ball in the air and then came back to take the catch.
However, the umpires went upstairs to check whether Reddy took it cleanly or not. But the third umpire just took one replay and gave the out decision. The veteran opener de Kock, went after scoring just two runs in five balls.
