The IPL 2024 final will be played in Chennai on May 26 between KKR and SRH.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 final will see the Shreyas Iyer-led Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), who are captained by Pat Cummins, as they battle it out for the elusive trophy. This match will take place on May 26, 2024, at Chennai’s M.A. Chidambaram Stadium.

The Shreyas Iyer-led team qualified for the final after defeating Pat Cummins’s team in Qualifier 1 at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. Then, the Orange Army qualified for the final against KKR by defeating Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Qualifier 2 in Chennai.

Given the outstanding performances of both teams in the season, it is extremely difficult to pick favourites.

How much money the Orange Cap and Purple Cap winners will get?

The Orange Cap, awarded to the batter with the highest runs, comes with a cash prize of INR 15 lakhs. The Purple Cap, given to the bowler with the most wickets, also carries a prize of INR 15 lakhs.

What are the other categories of awards and what is the prize money of each?

The Emerging Player of the Tournament will receive INR 20 lakhs. The Power Player of the Season and Super Striker of the Season will each receive INR 15 lakhs. Apart from this, there are two other awards – the Most Valuable Player and Game Changer of the Season, each of them getting INR 12 lakhs.
