IPL 2024: Twitter goes gaga as Romario Shepherd smashes 32 runs off Anrich Nortje's over

Romario Shepherd’s unbeaten 39 guided MI to 234/5 vs DC in IPL 2024.

The Mumbai Indians (MI) vs Delhi Capitals (DC) encounter in the IPL 2024 at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai witnessed a stunning display of batting as MI hard-hitter Romario Shepherd hammered 32 runs against DC’s speedster Anrich Nortje in the 20th over of the first innings on April 7.

The explosive MI batter hammered Nortje for four sixes and two fours in the 20th over which guided hosts Mumbai to 234/5. Nortje’s final bowling figures were 2/65 in four overs whereas Shepherd blasted an unbeaten 39 off 10 balls.

Following Shepher’s quick-fire cameo, cricketing fraternity was quick to praise him on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
