IPL 2025 auction: List of Indian players with base price of INR 2 crore

The IPL 2025 auction is scheduled to take place on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah.

A total of 1574 players have registered themselves for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction. This list will be pruned down by the IPL after taking inputs from the 10 franchises.

The IPL 2025 auction is scheduled to take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on November 24 and 25.

Several big-name Indian and overseas players have entered the auction pool. Among the Indian superstars entering the auction will be 2024 IPL-winning captain Shreyas Iyer, who has been released by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), KL Rahul, who parted ways with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), and Rishabh Pant, who has been let go of by Delhi Capitals (DC).

Iyer, Rahul and Pant are expected to be among the most expensive buys at the IPL 2025 auction.

Out of the 1574 players registered, 1165 are Indians. 91 South African players have registered for the IPL 2025 auction, the most from any country apart from India. Following South Africa are Australia and England with 76 and 52 players respectively.

Among the registered players, 320 are capped and 1124 are uncapped. A franchise can include a maximum of 25 players in their squad. Therefore, a total of 204 slots are available to be filled in the IPL 2025 auction.

As usual, the maximum base price is INR 2 crore. Several Indian players have registered themselves in the highest base price bracket for the IPL 2025 auction.

Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Ravichandran Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammed Shami, Khaleel Ahmed, Deepak Chahar, Venkatesh Iyer, Avesh Khan, Ishan Kishan, Mukesh Kumar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Prasidh Krishna, T Natarajan, Devdutt Padikkal, Krunal Pandya, Harshal Patel, Arshdeep Singh, Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur, Mohammed Siraj and Umesh Yadav.
