The IPL 2025 saw brilliant performances from the bat and ball of several players.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 concluded with an enthralling final between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBKS). The Rajat Patidar-led side ended their title drought of 18 years and lifted the trophy at the Narendra Modi International Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday (3rd June).

The IPL 2025 saw brilliant performances from the bat and ball of several players. The best one came from the players of Punjab Kings (PBKS), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Gujarat Titans (GT) and Mumbai Indians (MI) as they helped their respective teams to reach the playoffs of the tournament.

PBKS and RCB finished at the top two spots, while GT and MI took third and fourth spots respectively. The Rajat Patidar-led side made their way directly into the final as they won the Qualifier 1 against PBKS by eight wickets, but the drama unfolded in other games.

MI thrashed GT in the Eliminator and then locked horns with PBKS in the Qualifier 2. In what was a cliffhanger, the Shreyas Iyer-led side beat the opposition by five wickets at the Narendra Modi International Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad to book their place in the final.

At the big stage, RCB stood tall and made sure that they won the match and lifted the title. The Rajat Patidar-led side defeated the Shreyas Iyer-led side by six runs. They were spot on with the bat and ball and made sure that they clinched the pressure situations.

Virat Kohli (43) was the top run-getter for the RCB. Mayank Agarwal (24), skipper Rajat Patidar (26) and Liam Livingstone (25) played brilliant hands as well. Based on the solid knocks, the franchise posted a total of 190 runs.

In the chase, PBKS kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Josh Inglis (39) and Shashank (61*) tried to keep their team in the hunt. But couldn’t take their side home as RCB won the game by six runs to lift the title.
