IPL 2025 mega auction: List of all Australia cricketers shortlisted
A total of 37 Australian players have been shortlisted for the IPL 2025 mega auction.
The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction will be held in Saudi Arabia on November 24 and 25. This mega auction precedes the 18th edition of the IPL that will be played from March 14 next year.
Earlier, 1574 players had put their names for the mega auction. From which, the BCCI cutdown the list to 577 players who will now be up for grabs.
Out of these, 367 are Indians and 210 overseas. A maximum of 204 slots are available to be filled across the 10 teams, out of which a maximum of 70 slots belong to overseas players.
A total of 37 Australian players will go under the hammer at the IPL 2025 mega auction. The biggest name in this list if Mitchell Starc, who had helped Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) become the IPL 2024 champions. In the last auction, Starc became the most expensive player in IPL history as KKR bagged him for INR 24.75 crores.
Other marquee Aussie stars in the IPL 2025 mega auction are David Warner, Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Marsh, and Adam Zampa.
